2-ingredient gingerbread bites
By Sari Huhtala
No time to bake a batch of gingerbread this season? Looking for healthier alternatives to traditional gingerbread? These two-ingredient gingerbread bites satisfy the craving for the spices of the season, while keeping holistic and healthy top of mind.
This recipe is insanely easy.
In a food processor place ½ cup pitted dates (chop to make sure there are no pits) and ½ cup walnuts. Add 1 tsp of gingerbread spice. You can make your own easily by combining: 1 tbsp ground cinnamon and ground ginger, ½ tsp ground allspice and ground cloves, and 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg.
If you’re looking for a healthy traditional gingerbread cookie recipe, try this recipe. My grandson loves these!
