Copper: an antidote to inflammation, pain
In the late 1930s medical researchers in Germany discovered men who worked in copper mines didn’t experience arthritis, inflammation of the joints. This discovery prompted medical researchers to begin using copper to treat arthritis, neck and back pain and sciatica pain.
